The system safety concept focuses on the application of systems engineering and systems management to the process of hazard, safety and risk analysis. The system safety profession draws from a broad range of engineering, behavioral, scientific, legal and managerial skills. The 35th International System Safety Conference is the premiere international conference on system safety.
The theme for the 35th ISSC “Pushing the Boundaries of System Safety” is intended not only to redefine how system safety is applied in many different domains, but also to reach into our history of lessons learned, go beyond our present thinking, and push the boundaries of the System of Safety as well as how we think about the safety of systems. The goal of this training conference and workshop is to bring interdisciplinary practitioners and the foremost thinkers within the system safety and related disciplines together to exchange ideas, knowledge, experiences and best practices.
